One record per piece of work
Every project carries a brand, a stage, a condition, a target date and a next action written in plain words. Opening it tells you what to do without reading a history.
PRODUCT
Projects in CTC hold the stage, the next action, the notes, the checklist and the exact file path where the work lives, so nothing is lost between the idea and the finished piece.
Every project carries a brand, a stage, a condition, a target date and a next action written in plain words. Opening it tells you what to do without reading a history.
Half-formed ideas go to the Inbox. When one is worth doing you convert it into a project; when it is not you dismiss it and it stops nagging you.
You define storage locations once. CTC then records the path each project's footage, drafts and exports belong to, and shows it next to the work.
Research links, references, per-project checklists and the stage history all live on the project, so the record of what happened stays with the work.
CTC records paths — it does not read, upload, sync or move files on your drives, and it never claims a location has been mounted or verified when it has not.
